Central Montana Head Start has established collaboration efforts with local school districts, cooperative services, and other classrooms to assure that all members of a child’s education plan are working towards universal goals.  All efforts are made to make and allow for the most progress towards set goals.

Child Study Teams including, but not limited to, parents, school psychologist, speech pathologists, counselors, and aides meet a minimum of once per year to review and update the goals for the child receiving services.

The team forms official goals and places them on the Individualized Education Plan.  These plans are monitored and updated as progress in made.

Central Montana Head Start has 10% of the overall enrollment reserved for children with disabilities.  Center Directors, Program Operations Director, Teachers, Teacher Assistants, and applicable Aides are included into the Child Study Team.  This allows for the most holistic and complete view of the student.
