In accordance with our core values, we strive to provide families with opportunities to be successful as well.  Head Start was founded on the basis of breaking unsuccessful cycles and empowering families to advocate for their needs.

Central Montana Head Start has implemented various opportunities for families to indicate or express their needs and desires to assure their success as a family.  The process begins at enrollment and is continually updated at Family Conferences and in home visits with the Teacher/Family Advocate.

Staff uses various resources to help families become successful in meeting their needs.  Some examples of resources utilized are Angel Tree, Community Cupboard, SAVES, Office of Public Assistance, and various HRDC programs.  Often, educational classes are offered onsite by professionals.   The most popular programs offered by Central Montana Head Start are Parenting Classes, Cooking and Nutrition Classes, and Budgeting Classes.
